Which data do we process?
Depending on how you use our services, we may process:
- Account and contact details — name, email, phone, address, and where relevant company name, KvK and VAT number (business customers).
- Order and payment data — products ordered, amounts, shipping/pickup choice, order status. Payment details (such as bank account numbers) are processed by the payment provider; we typically receive a payment status and reference.
- Repair intake — contact and address details, device/problem description, contact preference, signature where applicable, and repair tracking data.
- Communication — messages you send by email, web forms or WhatsApp.
- Newsletter — email address and consent, if you subscribe.
- Technical and usage data — e.g. IP address in server logs, search terms in our (anonymised) search logs, and — only with your consent — statistics via Google Analytics 4. See also our cookie policy.
Purposes and legal bases
- Contract — processing orders, payments, delivery/pickup, warranty and repairs, customer accounts.
- Legal obligation — e.g. tax retention for invoices and accounting.
- Legitimate interest — shop security, fraud prevention, basic search analytics without storing IP addresses in search logs, improving our services.
- Consent — analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) and the newsletter. You may withdraw consent; see the cookie policy for analytics.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for targeted advertising through this webshop.
Sharing with third parties (processors / partners)
We share data only when needed for the service or required by law, for example with:
- Mollie — payments (including iDEAL).
- DHL / PostNL — parcel delivery (name, address, phone/email for delivery).
- Google — Google Analytics 4, only after cookie consent.
- Hosting / email infrastructure — storage of the webshop, databases and email on secured systems.
- WhatsApp / Meta — if you contact us via WhatsApp, their terms apply to that chat.
Where appropriate we use processor agreements or rely on these parties’ terms. Public authorities receive data only when we are legally required to provide it.
Administration and invoicing
Orders, invoices and customer data are kept in our own webshop system. Invoice data is retained for as long as tax law requires (in the Netherlands typically 7 years).
Retention
- Customer account — while the account is active, or until you request deletion/erasure (unless a legal retention duty applies).
- Orders and invoices — in line with statutory accounting periods.
- Repairs — as long as needed for performance, aftercare/warranty and administration.
- Newsletter — until you unsubscribe.
- Cookie consent — see the cookie policy (
ct_cookie_consent, up to 365 days). - Search logs — limited period per our retention settings; without IP address or account link.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures, such as HTTPS, access control for the admin area (including 2FA where applicable) and least-privilege access. No one can guarantee absolute security; please report incidents as soon as possible via [email protected].
Cookies and similar technologies
For cookies, analytics and localStorage, see our separate cookie policy. The old statement that we “do not use cookies” no longer applies.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Send requests to [email protected]. We aim to respond within 30 days. To prevent abuse we may ask for reasonable identification and preferably reply to the email address we already hold for you.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy. The current version is always on this page. If changes materially affect how we process data we already hold about you, we will inform you where reasonable (for example by email).
